MPI introduces groundbreaking commercial and public TV segment promoting the meeting and event industry

Meeting Professionals International (MPI) announced today it has developed an educational commercial and a public television interstitial segment to increase awareness for the meeting and event industry. Both TV spots are part of the organization’s Meetings Move Us ForwardSM grassroots communication effort, which was designed to help MPI members promote the value of the work they do.

London launches ambassador programme to the capital’s medical elite

London & Partners, the official promotional organisation for the capital, officially unveiled its inaugural ambassador programme to an audience of the city’s leading medical experts at the Museum of London’s unique event space yesterday (Tuesday 21 January 2014). Celebrating London’s reputation as a thriving centre for life sciences and medical research, the event underlined the Mayor of London’s commitment to establishing the city as a global hub for medical advancement and discovery.

NYC & Company, New York City’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization, has announced the release of the NYC 5-Borough Playbook, a guide to exploring beyond Times Square and Super Bowl Boulevard during Super Bowl Week. The NYC 5-Borough Playbook was created to share general information about neighborhoods and must-see attractions that are conveniently accessible by public transportation in each of the City’s boroughs. Mixed feelings for Aesthetics Events boss

Coventry City’s FA Cup trip to Arsenal has caused mixed feelings for one city-based business owner.
Lee Thomas, who runs events staffing agency Aesthetics Events from a base at Electric Wharf in the city, is a lifelong Sky Blues supporter.
But her firm also supplies more than 75 staff in a variety of roles to work in the corporate areas at the Emirates on matchdays.

Technical Direction Company (TDC) provides the perfect video backdrop for 27th ARIA Awards

Video display experts, Technical Direction Company (TDC) supplied all video technology elements for the 27th ARIA Awards held at The Star, Sydney, Australia on 1 December 2013.
The ARIA Awards are the official awards of the Australian Record Industry Association attended by an audience of over 4,000. The event was broadcast live on Channel 9’s “GO!” with performances from many Australian artists including Birds of Tokyo, Bliss n Eso and Tame Impala as well as special guest appearances from Alicia Keys and Lorde.
