The British Virgin Islands (BVI) appoints Mango PR

The British Virgin Islands Tourist Board has appointed Mango PR to handle its public relations in the UK.  The team will assist the tourist board in achieving its goal of increasing the number of UK based visitors to the islands – both on land and sea.

Of the 60 Caribbean islands which form the British Virgin Islands (BVI) only 15 are inhabited.  The principal islands are Tortola (home to the capital, Road Town), Virgin Gorda, Anegada and Jost Van Dyke.  The BVI is home to some of the world’s best resorts and private islands (including Rosewood’s Little Dix Bay, Peter Island Resort & Spa and Richard Branson’s Necker Island) and is also a popular destination for yachting enthusiasts, thanks to its fair weather and good winds.

Sharon Flax Mars, Director of Tourism, British Virgin Islands; “We chose Mango PR as we felt an immediate culture fit with the team.  We were excited by their all-round travel, tourism and yachting experiences as well as their innovative approach to driving awareness of the BVI.  We are delighted to have them on board.”
