Events management software (EMS) leader Aventri, today revealed “The Top 100 Meeting and Event Venues in the United States.” The free guide highlights the company’s top 10 venue picks in each of its 10 top-rated meeting and event cities. Also in the guide are leading activities and restaurants for attendees to enjoy during their stay

“Many studies show two factors are key to attendee satisfaction: venue location and activities in the host city,” explains Michael Burns, Chief Revenue Officer, Aventri.

“To that end, our new guide is a planner’s ultimate resource for 2019 events,” Burns continues. “It covers everything, from finding the perfect city with the right restaurants and things to do to securing a venue that can ‘wow’ every guest. Organizers will find what they need to pull off extraordinary events.”

The 44-page guide features a curated list of 100 venues in the 10 most sought-after event cities in the U.S. based on sourcing activity during the past year on the Aventri Strategic Venue Sourcing platform.

For each city, Aventri lists 10 stellar venues, selected for qualities planners value. Criteria includes: capacity; amenities; uniqueness; proximity to local attractions; and ability to create immersive, engaging attendee experiences.

The best-of-the-best list contains an eclectic mix. Organizers will find innovative venues, such as: cathedrals, botanical gardens, wineries, casinos, cultural centers, famous baseball fields, museums, breweries, historic mansions, zoos, aircraft carriers … and of course inspired hotels and convention centers.

Also in the guide are restaurant spotlights. Aventri interviewed chefs and managers at culinary hot spots in its Top 10 Cities. These local experts share how they accommodate groups, where they get their inspiration, what they like best about their neighborhood and city, and more.

Featured restaurants include: Le Bernardin, New York City; Buddy V’s, Las Vegas; The Optimist, Atlanta; Adele's, Nashville; Herb & Wood, San Diego; and Blue Door Kitchen & Garden, Chicago.
