Record sales and a triple crown of awards have made 2018 a year to remember for the team at AC Group.
The year started with success as AC Group was named Tour Operator of the Year at the UKInbound Awards in February 2018. A busy summer season across all three of AC Group’s brands (AC Tours, AC Luxe and AC Online) led to record annual turnover, with sales tipped to exceed £20m for the first time in the company’s almost 20-year history.
The weather may have cooled in November but AC Group’s ‘hot streak’ continued with Services Contracts Manager Alice Hye being named ‘Tomorrow’s Leader’ at the everyWoman in Travel Awards, and AC Luxe – the company’s luxury division – receiving a prestigious ‘Passion for Travel' award from Audley Travel. “It’s been a busy year for the team and it’s great to see their hard work and enthusiasm pay off in great business results, as well as third party recognition,” says Rob Russell, joint CEO of AC Group. “Alice’s award was symbolic of the fabulous team we have – people who are passionate about their job and strive to excel, whilst the UKInbound win both excited and motivated the whole company. We continue to seek to improve all aspects of our business and so far this year it certainly seems like we have, with record annual turnover forecast.”

Next year promises to bring even more excitement for AC Group: the wholesale operator announced in November 2018 its expansion into international markets including France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and North America.
