Marketing Edinburgh rewards member loyalty with Edinburgh Grand exclusive lounge

Loyal members of Marketing Edinburgh have been granted exclusive use of an all new premier lounge at the Edinburgh Grand - part of an enhanced benefit package launched at the annual conference this week.

At BT Murrayfield on Tuesday 6 November, more than 120 members gathered at the annual member and stakeholder conference to hear an update on the city’s progress in the areas of film, leisure and business tourism.  

In a first for any UK destination marketing organisation, Marketing Edinburgh awarded more than 75 companies with a crystal trophy to mark their fifth, tenth and fifteenth anniversaries with the membership programme, which helps local businesses market to the growing conference and business tourism market in the capital.  

Members who were honoured, including Edinburgh International Conference Centre, Edinburgh First, and Little’s Chauffeur Service, were also rewarded with an increase of benefits, including access to more business leads, recognition at events and access to the brand-new ‘members lounge’ at the newly opened five-star hotel, Edinburgh Grand.  

Hillary Bett, Head of Commercial & Membership at Marketing Edinburgh, said: “We are truly grateful for the continuous commitment we’ve had from our members and wanted to celebrate their loyalty, which included 50 companies who have been with us for more than 15 years.  

“As well as providing additional benefits, we’re excited to announce the launch of our new exclusive lounge open to members of the Convention Edinburgh programme for more than five years. Working in partnership with the Edinburgh Grand, we will deliver a VIP experience, which our members can use for business.”
