Inghams celebrates success following launch of The Academy

Following Inghams’ launch of The Academy on Wednesday 29th March 2017, a bespoke interactive learning portal for travel agent partners, the specialist tour operator is proud to announce its success, with over 400 agents already signed up within the first seven days of its launch.

In the lead-up to the launch, 25,000 branded tea bags were sent out to 5,000 agents, alongside a guide on how to use The Academy, encouraging them to sit, have a cup of tea and learn with Inghams.  

The Academy was created to give agents the tools they need to speak confidently and knowledgably about Inghams’ Ski, Lakes & Mountains and Inghams Italy products, through engaging video and interactive courses, separated into modules. Since its launch, over 2,600 modules have already been completed and a staggering 170 hours of learning time logged.  

Modules are bite-sized and include a beginner’s guide to Ski, Lakes & Mountains modules and video tutorials on the history of Inghams. On completing a minimum of three modules, over the next six months agents will be automatically entered into a monthly prize draw, which includes a range of exciting prizes, from a holiday to Italy to an ipad.
