The European Tour hosts 47 professional golf tournaments in 26 countries and will be partnering with Eventbrite to make it easy for golf fans to buy all types of tickets, from spectator passes through to corporate hospitality, and provide the European Tour with entry management technology to support the different tour events.

Being able to use Eventbrite’s technology to understand the different data generated by events on this scale, including a birds eye view of where, when and how our tickets have been purchased across the world, is important to us in order to continually improve the experience fans have when they attend our different events.”
Founded ten years ago to make professional ticketing accessible to organisers of events of all types and sizes, Eventbrite today processes around two million tickets a week. The Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open is currently selling on Eventbrite.
Tim Hunt continues: “Golf fans plan their diaries well ahead, whether it is for the BMW Championship at Wentworth or an overseas Ryder Cup tour. They need to be able to reliably and securely book their tickets, whether on the go or from home. When they attend, fans expect all the basics and latest technology associated with major spectator sport events, such as buying and receiving their tickets on their phone and being sped through a fast and seamless check-in at the entrance.”
