The company, which is headquartered in Glasgow, Scotland, has opened an office in the business district of Shanghai.
TBR, which already works with a number of corporates, events managements companies and travel management companies (TMCs) in Europe and the United States, will provide logistical support to business travellers and meetings delegates in the Chinese business hub and across the country.
Rom Remy, the managing director for TBR’s business operations in the Asia-Pacific region, will manage the site.
The Frenchman has more than 10 years experience in the travel industry, with the last four focused on ground transportation.
Michael O’Hare, the chief executive of TBR Global, said: “China is already the world’s biggest economy. As the business community expands in Shanghai and across the country, there is a fast-growing demand for robust, executive transportation services.
“The company has enjoyed significant growth over the last 12 months. The opening of our new office in Shanghai will, therefore, contribute significantly to our continued growth across the globe.”
