ACTE to broadcast key conference sessions worldwide

Keeping with its theme of “Innovation,” the Association of Corporate Travel Executives will make two key sessions of its upcoming Global Travel Conference - Atlanta (April 12-14), available to its worldwide membership and others. Live, online streaming of the event’s general sessions will bring the buzz of the conference and the crux of the industry’s announcements to ACTE’s membership and to anyone with an interest in travel management — without charge.

This interactive online experience is another industry first for the association that introduced the “Zero Registration Event Fee” concept to the industry,” said ACTE’s Executive Director Greeley Koch. “Our goal is to bring people together, and to make that process as easy as sitting at their computer or viewing their handheld device.”

Billed as a “hybrid event,” registered online attendees will have the opportunity to watch two live general sessions, chat with colleagues from around the globe, and ask the speakers their real-time questions. Shortly after the live sessions are broadcast, online participants will join an exclusive online chat with industry innovators.

Though these two sessions will be found online anytime after their initial presentation, they will stream live on two dates:

1) Monday, April 13th - 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm EST

“This hybrid conference event challenges consensus that insists participants must be in the room and charged a fee to get important information,” said Koch. “ACTE challenges consensus all the time. I believe more folks will attend ACTE events in the future when they see what they’ve missed.” The conference’s nuts and bolts travel management seminars will not be streamed. ACTE currently leads the business travel industry with 70 educational events held worldwide in 2015.
