Live Group wins coveted place on Crown Commercial Service rosters for Event Management and Production

Live Group MD Toby Lewis
A stunning win by The Live Group to secure a coveted place on both Lots of the new Crown Commercial Service framework for event management and production services will ensure that for the next two years at least, clients right across the public sector can continue to enjoy the benefits of the company’s innovative services.

Live Group MD Toby Lewis commented: “The presence of The Live Group on both Lots is significant. Public sector clients will now have the opportunity to procure all of their event needs directly from an SME with specialist in-house teams, real financial stability, a track record in the public sector stretching back almost 40 years and fully integrated award winning digital tools. What's more, they can benefit from a wealth of free professional advice on how to include these effectively into their communications plans, in line with the government’s digital strategy.”

Just as important, Live Group’s delegate management service, Greengage, whose reliability, security, cost and functionality led to its adoption across the Creative Choice framework, will be available to all. For the past three years Greengage has garnered volumes of valuable delegate data for numerous clients across the public sector including central government departments, NDBPs and wider public sector organisations.

“We’re delighted to be part of this centralised agreement,” Lewis continued. “Not least because it will be open to customers across the whole public sector, including central government departments, executive agencies, non-departmental public bodies, NHS bodies and local authorities. We are really hoping that the framework will fulfil all of the government’s expectations for it. We understand that public sector clients need to connect with their audiences and we can help them in a host of new and different ways, with far better results than ever before.”

Crown Commercial Service Chief Executive, Sally Collier added: “I am delighted to confirm the award of the Events agreement. This is a fundamental part of the vision set out in this year's Government Communications Plan to work together across the public sector and spend taxpayers' money responsibly. It's also great news for a diverse and vibrant supply base with 89% SMEs."
