Transun unveils the perfect experiences for true Aurora Hunter

Independent tour operator, Transun, has revealed its range of authentic activity-filled holiday packages to the remote wilderness of the Arctic region for this winter with its new Arctic Spirit brochure. Whether clients are searching to witness the spectacular Northern Lights, spend a night in an igloo, take a ride on a husky sled or go whale watching, there is something that everyone can tick off on their bucket list.

New for 2015, holidaymakers have the chance to spend an action packed Easter in Lapland on a four-night Northern Lights short break. Guests will set out on an evening snowmobile safari in search of the enchanting Northern Lights and enjoy a guided forest trek to a stunning viewing point which overlooks the village of Karesuando. In addition, visitors to this magical region will get up close to a pack of Husky dogs before being pulled on a sled on a thrilling wilderness safari, learn about herding and lassoing reindeer and enjoy an introduction to the age-old means of traversing the Arctic terrain, by snowshoe. The Easter four-night Northern Lights short break is available from £799, includes accommodation on a full-board basis, flights from London Gatwick and a range of exhilarating activities.

The seven-night Aurora Hunter tour is available on selected dates from January – March 2015 from £959 per person.
