Cabfind.com came to the aid of 30 stranded senior execsThe recent labour dispute that disrupted London Underground services highlighted the value of the service offered by Cabfind.com. About 30 senior execs were at a breakfast meeting at the Google offices in Central St Giles and were then scheduled to cross the city to attend the Business Travel Show.
The tube strike meant that taxis were the only speedy alternative, but then thousands of other people had been pushed in the direction of London cabbies for their public transport. It looked as if the Business Travel Show, 4.4 miles away at Earls Court, might be a no-no.
The business execs turned for help to Cabfind, a ground transportation specialist. Cabfind was able to provide a small fleet of Addison Lee taxis that picked up the passengers and delivered them rapidly to the show.
Cabfind.com was launched in 2005. Located in The Wirral in the North West of England, it is now well established as a service to manage the private hire transport needs of its 60 or more clients in the public and private sector.
