Badrutt’s Palace takes centre stage this Winter Season

Badrutt’s Palace Hotel, the Grande Dame of St. Moritz is galloping into the winter season, playing host to a plethora of top class events, from the much-revered Snow Polo World Cup, to the grand opening of the new “King’s Club”. The iconic Embassy Ballroom will see the [email protected]’sPalace series continue, showcasing a variety of international singers and musicians, from pop stars to cabaret singers.

The Grand Opening of The King’s Club
The date is set for the much anticipated opening of the revamped King’s Club which will be throwing open its doors to party revellers on the 17th December. Boasting the status of the oldest nightclub in Switzerland, The King’s Club has stayed true to its rhythm and the recent refurbishment will no doubt consolidate its reputation as the place to be this winter season. The combination of live music and famous DJ’s, with the club’s opulent interiors and signature cocktails, is sure to satisfy party animals and sophisticated cocktail drinkers alike.  

In Concert @Badrutt’s Palace series  
This season’s [email protected]’sPalace kicks off with a bang on 27th December with a performance from the revered Ute Lemper, the German Femme Fatale of Cabaret. Ute will dazzle spectators with an opening performance of Last Tango in Berlin. The Italian powerhouse, Gianna Nannini, will launch the second concert with her infamous ballad Un Estate Italiana on 6th January 2017. The third and final [email protected]’s Palace will take place on 8th March 2017, the artist, a Grammy nominated British singer songwriter will be revealed in November 2017.  

Top Class Winter Sporting Events
From the piste to the frozen lake, St. Moritz continues to be the mecca for top class winter sport events this season. Badrutt’s Palace will once again be battling for victory in the Snow Polo World Cup from the 27th-29th January 2017.  The tournament will see high-class polo played against the magnificent backdrop of a snow-capped Engadin Valley, with Badrutt’s Palace offering an unrivalled view for spectators.  

FIS Alpine World Ski Championships are set to take place in St. Moritz from 6th-19th February 2017. This is the fifth year that St. Moritz, the birthplace of winter tourism, will be hosting the prestigious event, further cementing the resort’s reputation for being a hub for winter sports enthusiasts. And of course at the heart of it all, stands Badrutt’s Palace, the ideal spot to witness the excitement and revelry first-hand.
