Geneva Convention Bureau Awards

Geneva Convention Bureau Ambassador Dinner
On Tuesday the 2nd of February the Geneva Convention Bureau Ambassador Dinner, attended by 110 guests, took place at the Ecole Hôtelière de Genève (EHG). The purpose of this dinner, held annually by the Geneva Convention Bureau, is to thank the individuals who have worked to bring conventions to Geneva, thereby helping to promote our city internationally.

This year again, the Convention Bureau handed out awards in recognition of conventions that had been particularly noteworthy. On this occasion, Mr. Paul E. Müller, President of Geneva Tourism & Conventions Foundation, presented the “Honorary Award” to Prof. Eugen Brühwiler and Mr. Chep Uytiepo for the IABSE conference and the award for “Largest International Attendance” to Mr. Pierre Philippe for the World Congress on Juvenile Justice.
