The Swiss Tech Convention Centre – Inaugurated in April 2014, Europe’s most modern conference centre is the largest multi-functional venue in the world and can be transformed in minutes from a 3,000-seat auditorium into a 2,000m2 banqueting hall. The basement can be used as one large hall or split into five, 10 or 15 separate rooms holding from 40 to 250 people.

This May the Swiss Tech Convention Centre will be hosting the 15th International & European Associations Congress from the 5th – 7th May 2015. Lausanne expects 450 professionals to attend this three day event this spring.

The Royal Savoy – re-opening in summer 2015 after a lavish refurbishment, this five-star business hotel in the centre of the city will offer 196 rooms and suites, exclusive terrace restaurant, sky terrace with 360˚ panoramic views, five boardrooms and a 574m2 ballroom. The MCH Beaulieu Lausanne Congress Centre – currently the biggest convention centre in the region provides 50,500m2 of exhibition space, 30 meeting rooms, conference facilities for up to 5,000 people and a theatre seating over 1,800 people.

The University, the Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) and the Vaud University Hospital Centre (CHUV) offer rooms and reception facilities for the scientific and medical conferences in which Lausanne specializes. The EPFL houses the Rolex Learning centre with a modern workspace which flows continuously over an area of 20,000m2

Hotel Aquatis – the new three star hotel which opened its doors in March 2015. With 143 rooms, fitness centre, spa, restaurant and terrace, conference centre, 1200 parking slots and easy access to the cities metro. Part of the Aquatis will be the Swiss Museum of Water, the biggest freshwater aquarium which will open in 2016. This new hotel in the city is the ideal venue choice for large corporate events, smaller intimate meetings and fun team incentives.

The Olympic Museum – following its extensive renovations and reopening, the iconic venue includes an auditorium for up to 175 people conference-style and up to 700 people for a cocktails reception.

Event organisers can deal with venues directly – or if they prefer, the Congress & Events Service provided by Lausanne Tourisme can make all the necessary arrangements, including additional recreational activities if required.
