Holiday Inn Glasgow Theatreland, ensconced firmly in the heart of the city’s burgeoning cultural quarter, is being given a fresh face to give guests a real sense of affordable luxury throughout their stay.
Some £3 million is being lavished on an ambitious upgrading of each of the hotel’s 120 guest rooms, suites and public areas to refresh its décor, furnishings, fixtures and fittings to lend it a distinctly contemporary style and sense of luxury certain to appeal to tourists and business guests alike.

Alan Taylor, general manager at Holiday Inn Glasgow Theatreland, said: “Last year’s Commonwealth Games put Glasgow firmly on the tourist map and we are determined to use the fantastic success of 2014 as a launch pad from which to invest further in enhancing the visitor experience that our guests can expect.

“To that end, our luxury tweaking will ensure that the hotel has a bright, warm 21st Century welcome with which to greet guests visiting Glasgow for business or pleasure.

“We are located in the beating heart of Glasgow’s fashionable shopping and theatre district, which itself has benefited recently from considerable investment in the upgrading of its facilities, with more developments earmarked for the future, so it is only right that we also invest in presenting our best possible features to our guests.”

Holiday Inn Glasgow Theatreland is located within a short walk of Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Theatre Royal, Pavilion Theatre and Kings Theatre Buchanan Galleries, John Lewis, and the famous Style Mile. Glasgow Central and Queen Street train stations are also only a short walk and the hotel sits opposite Buchanan Bus Station where the shuttle from Glasgow International Airport stops.

All standard, executive, feature rooms and suites have air-conditioning and satellite channels including Sky Sports.
