Paul Sies appointed Air Malta’s new Chief Commercial Officer

Paul Sies
Air Malta has appointed Paul Sies as Chief Commercial Officer. Paul takes his position with immediate effect and will be responsible for leading all commercial activity on a day-to-day basis.
Paul joins Air Malta with a strong track record after having worked for over 25 years at senior management level developing businesses for large organisations including British Airways, Virgin, Centerparcs, and selected Sabre airline and (on-line) customers.

Meetings Industry Association appoints new sales director

The Meetings Industry Association, one of the fastest growing trade association’s in the conference, meetings and events sector, has appointed Mia Butler as sales director.
The key appointment will see Mia, who joins from events group and venue finding agency Sundial, report directly to Meeting Industry Association chief executive Jane Longhurst.

Marco Polo Hotels – Hong Kong has announced the appointment of Mr Dalip Singh as Hotel Manager of its three Hong Kong properties: Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel, Prince Hotel and Gateway Hotel.  
A seasoned hotelier, Mr Singh has held senior management positions for more than 20 years in a number of reputable hotel groups in his native Singapore, as well as Malaysia and Dubai, including The Ritz Carlton, Millenia Singapore, Dusit Residence Dubai Marina and Pangkor Laut Resort.

Finnair appoints General Manager for UK, Ireland and Benelux

Andrew Fish begins new role as the airline further strengthens its presence in the region

Finnair has announced its new General Manager for UK, Ireland and Benelux reinforcing the airline’s management team in the countries.
Based in London, Andrew Fish oversees sales and marketing teams across the region, including the strategtically important gateways of London Heathrow, Manchester, Edinburgh, Dublin, Brussels and Amsterdam. Fish – formerly Finnair Sales Director within the same markets – joined the airline in summer 2016 and starts the role with immediate effect.
