Christoph Dittmer

Ahead of Hotel Launch on 22 December 2016

Ahead of the highly-anticipated launch of SEVERIN*S – The Alpine Retreat in Lech am Alberg, Austria, Christoph Dittmer has been appointed General Manager. With a wealth of experience in the hospitality sector, and having played an instrumental role in the launch of SEVERIN*S first luxury hotel in 2014 on the island of Sylt, Christoph was a natural choice for this prestigious position.

Christoph began his career in 2006 with an internship at the renowned five-star hotel Fährhaus Sylt. On completion, he swiftly took over the position of Guest Relations Manager before moving to Bavaria in 2010 to join the highly regarded TEGERNSEE Hotel & Spa as Front Office Manager. In 2013 he continued his career in Zurich as Revenue Manager at the Panorama Resort & Spa, Lake Zurich.

In 2014 Christoph joined SEVERIN*S Hotels. He played a vital role in the opening of the first SEVERIN*S luxury hotel, SEVERIN*S Resort & Spa in Keitum on the famous island of Sylt. He began by managing the Rooms Division department and eventually took over the management of the entire hotel with phenomenal success: within a short period of time, SEVERIN*S Resort & Spa established itself as the best hotel in the region with consistently high occupancy levels and a vast number of returning guests.

Christoph was also involved in the opening of the new lodge SEVERIN*S Morsum Kliff, which opened in 2016. In November 2016, he took over the opening of SEVERIN*S – The Alpine Retreat in Lech am Arlberg.

38-year old Christoph Dittmer was born in Hamburg, Germany and holds a French and German dual citizenship. A multi-linguist, Christoph is fluent in French, English and conversational Spanish. His professional expertise, language skills and passion for the SEVERIN*S brand make him the perfect General Manager for SEVERIN*S – The Alpine Retreat, as the luxury chalet hotel anticipates welcoming guests imminently.

SEVERIN*S – The Alpine Retreat will officially launch on 22 December 2016, bringing a new level of luxury to Lech with its nine super-suites, four-bedroom private residence, fine dining restaurant, Alpine inspired bar, wine cellar, state of the art fitness facilities, spa and living gallery of contemporary art works.

Prices at SEVERIN*S – The Alpine Retreat start from 890 euros per night in a Junior Suite, inclusive of welcome Champagne, breakfast and dinner daily, mini-bar, Wi-Fi, parking, luggage service, a heated ski cabinet, shuttle to ski lifts, turndown service and use of spa and fitness facilities.
