Luton Hoo Hotel strengthens F&B team
Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa is bolstering its food and beverage department with the appointment of two new members of senior management.
Darren Curson has joined the hotel as head chef, working across both restaurants and banqueting for the hotel and its exclusive events venue, Warren Weir.

Marius Negru has been appointed as brasserie and bars manager for the five-star hotel’s country club. A Master Chef of Great Britain, Darren is bringing extensive hotel fine dining experience to Luton Hoo, having previously held the position of Executive Head Chef at The Raithwaite Estate in Whitby and worked at the four AA rosette,1 Michelin star Hambleton Hall. He is working under Luton Hoo’s Executive Head Chef Will Hughes to oversee the hotel’s fine dining Wernher Restaurant and country club restaurant Adam’s Brasserie, as well as all banqueting, room and lounge service.

Marius Negru has experienced a wide variety of hospitality roles in his career, including management positions at the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, Whittlebury Hall Hotel & Spa, Disney Dream Cruise Ships and Giraffe Restaurants. As manager of Adam’s Brasserie, Marius will be responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations within Luton Hoo’s country club, including Adam’s Brasserie restaurant, Adam’s Bar, the 19th Bar and room service.

Our freshly cooked, locally sourced, seasonal menu is carefully designed by Darren and his brigade in order to satisfy the most exigent pallet.”

Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa offers a wide range of dining options, including lunch and dinner in the fine-dining Wernher Restaurant or Adam’s Brasserie, casual drinks and snacks in the 19th Bar and afternoon tea in the lounges of the mansion house.
