Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill has announced the appointment of Arnaud de Saint-Exupéry to the position of General Manager for Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill and Area Vice President for Hyatt Hotels in the UK & Ireland.

Building on the existing strengths created by former General Manager, Michael Gray, Arnaud looks forward to continuing the reputable Churchill experience.

He will oversee the management and strategic development of the luxury Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill located on Portman Square, in addition to overlooking the Hyatt properties located in UK which include Andaz London Liverpool Street, Hyatt Regency Birmingham and the recently opened Hyatt Place London Heathrow/Hayes.

“It is a pleasure to be back to London after 3 years in Japan and to continue, with great humility, the journey initiated by our dear friend and colleague, Michael. Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill has an amazing reputation around the world, one which we will continue to strengthen in the years to come. It is an exciting time to be back and I look forward to supporting Hyatt hotels in the UK, a place which I consider as my second home.”

Arnaud, who holds a Master Degree in Management & Marketing, started his career with Hyatt in July 2001 as Director of Marketing at the Park Hyatt Paris Vendome. In January 2005, he was promoted to Area Director of Marketing and in May 2006 to Hotel Manager. He took up his first General Manager assignment in January 2008 at Andaz London Liverpool Street. After more than 5 years, Arnaud then moved to Japan in September 2013, where he successfully opened Andaz Tokyo in June 2014. Being very acquainted with the UK luxury hotel market, Arnaud is thrilled to be returning once again to work across the evolving Hyatt brands in the region.

Arnaud looks forward to developing the long-standing relationships that the hotel has with the local community and partners and simultaneously introducing new guests to the hotels developing rich and engaging experience.
