Zoccali takes over Presidency of ILEA

Carlo Zoccali, took over as President of the International Live Events Association following the organisation’s presentation of it’s End of Term Report for the live events industry. The report was presented to ILEA members last month, at an industry showcase at DSTRKT, in London’s West End, which saw over 140 industry professionals enjoy a showcase of all things ILEA.

David Duffy
GES has announced the appointment of David Duffy as account manager for its strategic design and build partnerships in EMEA.  
Duffy has more than 12 years of experience in the events industry, and has managed and installed designs around the world including Rio, Doha and Singapore.

New General Manager at the helm of The St. David’s Hotel

Russell Durnell
Cardiff’s only five star hotel, The St. David’s Hotel, has announced the appointment of a brand new General Manager as it looks forward to the imminent launch of its newly refurbished waterfront bar and restaurant.
Russell Durnell takes on the position of General Manager at the iconic Cardiff Bay venue, with a wealth of experience spanning over 25 years in the hospitality industry.

Edinburgh cultural venues programme appoints Development Manager

James Bruce
The City of Edinburgh Council’s cultural venues collective has appointed James Bruce as programme development manager. The position which is based at the Usher Hall also covers city landmarks the Assembly Rooms, Ross Bandstand and Church Hill Theatre.
