Unique Venues of London announces two new members to the association: 10-11 Carlton House Terrace and Sky Garden, bringing the total membership to 86.
10-11 Carlton House Terrace is the home of the British Academy. Originally constructed during the late 1820s and early 1830s in a Roman-classical styled by celebrated British architect John Nash. The elegant building combines a prominent view of St. James’s Park with the light, high-ceilinged rooms synonymous with Nash’s signature style.

A selection of Italy’s top golf professionals joined up with key figures from the business and golfing worlds for four days of fun at Sicily’s deluxe Verdura Resort by taking part in the prestigious 2016 Buccellati Invitational Pro-Am.
Taking place at the award-winning golf and lifestyle destination resort for the fifth year running, 32 teams from countries including France, Russia and the UK joined players from Italy to compete over Verdura’s two 18-hole championship courses – the East and West – for the prized Sir Rocco Forte Trophy.

British Meetings & Events Industry Survey (BMEIS) offers annual in-depth study into UK’s conferencing sector

Birmingham has been named the country’s favourite business tourism destination outside London by UK-based event organisers.  
The annual British Meetings & Events Industry Survey (BMEIS) – a report highlighting the buying trends and characteristics of nearly 500 conference organisers from the corporate and not-for-profit sectors – revealed that Birmingham was the preferred choice outside of the capital to host events. Birmingham was ranked ahead of Manchester, Edinburgh and Leeds in the top five by industry professionals.
