The Meetings Show set to deliver on industry needs with new features for 2017

The Meetings Show is set to deliver a week of business opportunities, education and networking when it opens for the fifth time today.  
New features for 2017 include:
•70 plus first time exhibitors including global destinations, hotels, venues and technology providers
• Corporate speakers including former directors from Gü, Coca Cola, Walt Disney, The Coconut Collaborative and Green & Black’s

VisitAberdeenshire leads meeting sector diversification at international trade show

VisitAberdeenshire will attend The Meetings Show in London on 13-15 June, as part of the organisation’s ongoing strategy to grow Aberdeen’s £60m meetings industry.
VisitAberdeenshire, the destination management organisation for Aberdeen city and Aberdeenshire, will talk with meeting industry professionals from the UK and Europe during the three-day event in a bid to further stimulate the conference market in Aberdeen.

New conference venue puts Hull and East Yorkshire on the map for association events

The opening of a new conference venue in Hull will create a new geographical destination for corporate events, conference, meetings and association business.  
Opening in November 2017, the DoubleTree by Hilton Hull, will be the largest conference venue in Hull and East Yorkshire – with 869 m2 of ground floor, pillar free, flexible event space that can hold up to 1000 theatre style. “Our new venue will create a brand new geographical destination for association and corporate event planners” said Helen Symonds, director of sales, DoubleTree by Hilton Hull.
