The Meetings Show celebrates the Year of the Woman

Women in Hospitality 2020
The Meetings Show will be celebrating the Year of the Woman next month, with a focus on the role women play in the meetings and events industry high on the agenda of its education programme.
Women in Hospitality 2020 (WiH2020) will be using The Meetings Show, which takes place on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 June, to launch the new Diversity in Hospitality, Travel & Leisure Charter.

IET Venues to exhibit at The Meetings Show 2018

IET London: Savoy Place
IET Venues’ two UK sites in London and Birmingham will be exhibiting at The Meetings Show at Olympia London (stand J504), taking place between 27-28 June 2018.

Technology takes centre state at The Meetings Show

Will AI take over the world? Is technology set to replace face-to-face meetings? These are just two of the unmissable topics up for discussion at The Meetings Show next month.
The show’s education programme features a dedicated technology content stream, with 14 sessions including technology tools to boost networking, effective use of technology in digital meetings for healthcare and personalising the delegate journey.

Meetings industry professionals fear being disconnected

Workers in the meetings industry have revealed a heavy dependency on digital devices, claiming they would feel disconnected if they were denied access to them for just one day.
A survey carried out by The Meetings Show found that 73% of meetings professionals would feel anxious if they didn't have access to their smartphone or another digital device for 24 hours, while 79% fear that not having a smartphone or laptop when out of the office for travel or meetings would have a negative impact on their job.
