IMEX in Frankfurt 21-23 May, 2019

May 21-23 2019 are the days when a visit to IMEX in Frankfurt
offers worldwide destinations, venues, tech providers - and much more. (As before, there will also be an earlier day devoted to education on May 20.)
Exhibitors will range from New Zealand, Senses of Cuba, Barcelona Convention Bureau, Visit Brussels to Kempinski Hotels, Melia Hotels and Latvia.
During the three days of the show planners can meet with more than 3,500 suppliers from every sector of the global meetings and events industry.
IMEX’s pre-show education day, EduMonday, will take place on 20 May and this year it will again include ‘She Means Business’. But, new this year, EduMonday will start at lunchtime with a Keynote Speaker after which the programme offers both English- and German-language learning opportunities.

Collaboration, co-creation and the circular economy
The 2019 edition of IMEX in Frankfurt will also feature many new content ideas that have flowed from the feedback received from previous shows.
Reflecting current trends within the events industry and the world at large, topics such as diversity and inclusion, collaboration and co-creation - plus the circular economy - will all be explored.
IMEX in Frankfurt 2019 will take place at Messe Frankfurt from 21 -23 May 2019, with EduMonday, its pre-show day of learning and insights, on Monday 20 May.

New education formats and topics set to drive value at IMEX 2013

Eight education tracks which include ‘industry trends’, ‘personal development’ and ‘sustainability’ define IMEX in Frankfurt’s free professional development and education programme for 2013. Over 100 one-hour seminars, interactive workshops and informal ‘campfires’ (small group learnings which happen ‘in the round’ on the show floor) are scheduled for the award-winning trade show, starting Tuesday 21st May at 8.45hrs.

Science proves that face-to-face significantly outperforms other meeting formats when it comes to generating new ideas

Scientifically valid research conducted by the IMEX Group in partnership with the Meetology® Group has found that face-to-face meetings significantly outperform both video and voice-only when it comes to generating creative ideas.
The results from the Meetology® Laboratory experiments, which were conducted during IMEX in Frankfurt in 2012, clearly demonstrate that working together face-to-face generates more ideas, plus a marginally higher quality and a greater variety of ideas, compared to undertaking the same task either on the phone or via video link.

German Convention Bureau presents winners of the German wild cards for IMEX

The GCB German Convention Bureau has announced this year's winners of the German wild cards for IMEX: the event agency Architektur im Dialog (AiD) and event and entertainment agency Fräulein Betty held off a host of competitors with their innovative event concepts.

Rich and varied IMEX continues to drive business – New networking and education events add to business power

The launch of a new pre-show education and networking event for corporate buyers, the introduction of a new hosted buyer email service and a new German language seminar programme are just three of the features making up a strong IMEX in Frankfurt 2013.

IMEX America 2012 announces business value of $3.3 billion USD

Analysis of business conducted by buyers at the second edition of IMEX America at the Sands Expo® in Las Vegas last October reveals that buyers placed – or expect to place - $3.3 billion of business as a result of attending the award-winning trade show. The figure is a 17.5% increase on the $2.8 billion achieved at and during the months after the debut show in October 2011 (source: 2011 post-show survey).
