New private rooftop dining experience at Thailand's ultimate gourmet hotel

Asia’s ultimate gourmet hotel, The Nai Harn has further elevated its culinary capabilities with the launch of its stunning new intimate rooftop dining space - Prime at Rock Salt.  Overlooking what has been voted Thailand’s best beach, it is the latest addition to the striking portfolio of gourmet offerings at the five-star hotel.

Located above the hotel’s popular beach restaurant Rock Salt, Prime promises discerning diners a highly personalised and world-class experience, exclusive to no more than 20 guests at a time. The island’s hottest new venue has been designed for serene sunset dinners with dedicated attention from the hotel’s talented team of chefs, on hand to create unmissable dishes from the new interactive live cooking station.

Featuring the latest custom-built kitchen, Prime at Rock Salt will create delectable dishes drawn from flavours from around the world. Offering a taste for the senses, featuring some of the finest global ingredients - diners are transported across the globe with a selection of Spanish octopus, French goat’s cheese, Scottish salmon and Cornish mackerel, all expertly prepared in innovative ways that showcase their sublime flavours.

Adding a whole new dimension to Asia’s culinary scene, other highlights include homemade smoked chorizo fired in a furnace, masala marinated monkfish tails from Brittany, as well as yoghurt-marinated Bultarra lamb cooked tenderly in a wood-fired oven. For those looking for a truly spectacular gourmet feast, serving a selection of world-class steaks from Australia’s Rangers Valley, guests can indulge in a 360-day wagyu rib-eye steak, an exquisite 270-day Black Onyx cote de boeuf or succulent slow-cooked barbecued glazed short ribs – all of which are accompanied by an extensive selection of fine wines, hand-picked by global wine critic, James Suckling.

Leading the way in positioning The Nai Harn as Asia’s finest gourmet hotel, General Manager Frank Grassman outlines, ‘The rooftop at Rock Salt showcases spectacular sea views, especially at sunset and later when the stars fill the night sky. Combining this stunning setting with an exceptional menu, Prime is set to become the ultimate destination for unforgettable evenings, including romantic dinners and exclusive events’.
