 Spaces workspace
Creative workspace pioneer Spaces is opening its first business hub in the picturesque and historic town of Bath. Occupying 1,292 sq meters of space on the second and third floors of Northgate House, the company’s newest hub is in an upmarket location which is home to a range of modern companies from engineering to IT. An opening event to celebrate the hub’s launch will be held on 22 February.

Amsterdam-born Spaces provides creative working environments which are designed to integrate lifestyle into work. The company has a unique entrepreneurial ethos and encourages its members to build their networks and make connections.

The new Bath site is designed to meet the varied workplace requirements of today’s entrepreneurial businesses and will offer private offices and meeting rooms, as well as co-working desks for groups and individuals. Situated between the business hubs of Bristol and London, the town has regular rail services to London and the south-west which make it easy for its staff and clients to reach them.

This announcement is the latest phase in Spaces’ UK expansion which continues to gain momentum. The company, which was founded in 2006, has already opened several hubs across the UK, in locations including London, Liverpool, Brighton and Gerrards Cross and is due to open in several other locations in the coming months. Internationally, the company has a presence in more than 25 countries including the Netherlands, USA, Australia, Japan, Singapore and Mexico.

Richard Morris, UK CEO, Spaces, comments: “Spaces gives its members the opportunity to work alongside and meet fellow professionals who believe in the power of a collaborative approach to ideas generation and business growth.

“With its great history, stunning backdrop, and a flourishing business and start-up scene, Bath has become a prime location for many innovative companies and, as such, is the perfect fit for our new location.”
