Dunalastair Hotel Suites will open its doors on 1st May 2017 following an extensive two year, multi-million pound renovation, lead by Henley Homes and Optimum Hotel Management, redefining five-star luxury in Scotland.


Dunalastair Hotel Suites was first converted into a hotel at the turn of the last century and was originally constructed as a local Highland Sporting Lodge. Lead by a team of award-winning architects and designers, the hotel will reopen this year as a unique and modern five-star boutique hotel of true pedigree, set in the heart of Kinloch Rannoch, Perthshire. Dunalastair Hotel Suites will set the new benchmark for five star luxury in Scotland and the first of its kind in the Highlands for couples, families and groups the chance to recharge, reconnect and discover the best of Scottish hospitality in a contemporary environment.  

Embodying authentic, Scottish charm in a modern setting, the hotel features unsurpassed attention to detail with handcrafted and innovative architectural features, bespoke furniture and a modern colour palette, making guests and visitors feel they are in a contemporary and luxurious home away from home.

The hotel will open with 32 luxury suites, ideally suited for families, couples and groups and boasting breathtaking views of the Highlands. The five suite categories include; Superior Suites, Deluxe Suites, Grand Deluxe Suites, Luxury One Bedroom Suites and Family Two Bedroom Suites. All suites have been designed with sumptuous luxury, five-star comfort and the epitome of relaxation in mind using the finest fabrics and furniture created by Phoenix Interior Design.  

Edina’s Kitchen will be at the heart of the hotel and an epicurean hub for the local community. It will offer guests and visitors a modern and social fine dining experience. The beautifully designed restaurant will offer visitors an authentic and unique gastronomic experience relying on only the best quality locally sourced produce hand selected by Head Chef Dan Merriman. Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and an all-day grazing menu, Edina’s will be a place for guests to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the countryside.  

Signature dishes include Scottish scallop, maple, parsnip and parsley, Loin of roe deer, choux croute, baby carrots and wild garlic and The Dunalastair lemon meringue pie.  

Guests will also be able to relax and dine in the sun-trapped courtyard, which features contemporary outdoor seating, inlaid decking and serene music.

Opening rates will start from £155 for a Superior Suite.
