Hand Picked Hotels launches inspirational new Meetings packages

A Great Chamber built for Henry VIII and a Moorish gem modelled on the Alhambra Palace are among the inspirational settings for the exciting new Meetings and Conferences packages at Hand Picked Hotels, the award-winning collection of country house hotels across the UK and Channel Islands.

Hand Picked Hotels has introduced a range of options for meetings, conferences and business events to ensure that delegates enjoy a productive, creative and memorable experience without the distractions of the office.

Imaginative event organisation, the latest technology, delicious, high-energy food to boost energy levels, quality accommodation and excellent service create a truly memorable experience for business guests.

Hand Picked Hotels offers a transparent pricing process, a best price promise, a response within an hour to an initial enquiry, an events specialist for pre-event briefing and debrief and a guaranteed re-booking rate for the next event.

The new meetings and conferences packages are available at all Hand Picked Hotels, from grand country houses to island retreats, all in strategic locations with good transport links. Three new inclusive packages have been devised by Hand Picked Hotels, with a variety of menus focusing on fresh, local produce designed by Executive Chef Matt Ashton.

The classic day delegate package
This includes meeting room hire, tech support pack, LCD projector and screen, and imaginative food for breaks. There is a choice of either a hot and cold finger buffet, with kebabs, mini burgers and salads, or a networking lunch, with a selection of moussaka, pies, mini fish cakes and salads.

Classic residential package
In addition to the package outlined above, the residential option offers a three course table d’hote dinner, an overnight stay with traditional breakfast, plus use of the hotel’s spa and health club facilities (where available).

Executive package
This includes the option of either a two course plated lunch or hot and cold deli option. The plated lunch is a great choice for group dining in the restaurant or with an upgrade to a private dining room. Alternatively, the hot and cold deli option includes freshly cooked meat, fish and a vegetarian dish, carved and served by the Chef, with a wide variety of breads, salads and fillings to accompany each choice.

Essential package
This is designed for those events requiring only the essentials of a day delegate package. A fast track lunch is available, with soup, a selection of freshly baked continental breads and wraps with a variety of fillings and a fresh fruit platter.

From a board meeting to a large function, from exclusive use to team building, a dedicated  Meetings and Events team is available to create  bespoke proposals across all the hotels in the collection, backed by the Hand Picked service promise.

Each hotel offers an architecturally stunning backdrop, with beautiful grounds for al fresco events,  private dining rooms, open fireplaces and fine paintings. Historic highlights include the magnificent wood panelled Great Chamber at New Hall Hotel & Spa, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, which was created for Henry VIII’s visit.  The Chapel at Ettington Park Hotel, Stratford upon Avon, with its stained glass windows provides a memorable setting and The Alhambra at Rhinefield House Hotel & Spa, Brockenhurst, New Forest, has a fabulous Moorish interior, inspired by the Alhambra Palace.

The Channel Islands hotels are great places to escape for meetings. In Jersey, L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa and Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa have stunning sea views and outdoor terraces. St Pierre Park Hotel & Golf Resort in Guernsey, set in 35 acres and overlooking a beautiful lake,   provides a range of spaces. The newly refurbished La Fontaine Suite has a capacity for 350 for a reception.

Julia Hands, Chairman and Chief Executive, Hand Picked Hotels, said: “Inspirational surroundings with unique architectural features and historical quirks, combined with excellent service, ensure that our business guests derive maximum benefit from their stay with us for all their meetings and events.”
