Tewkesbury Park signs partnership deal with Aviva Premiership Club - Gloucester Rugby Club
Patrick Jones, general manager, of Tewkesbury Park, has announced a new corporate partnership with local rugby team and Aviva Premiership club - Gloucester Rugby Club. This heralds a first for the hotel and will create great local community and corporate opportunities for the hotel to leverage

Visiting the hotel to seal the deal from Gloucester Rugby Club, was Welsh international and British Lion player, James Hook, Irish international, Paddy McAllister, and newcomer to Gloucester, Andy Symons.

As part of the new corporate partnership, the hotel will be given tickets to home games, which it will use for charity fund-raising initiatives, staff incentives, as well as using them to forge closer links with their corporate clients. For the new season, the hotel will be sponsoring first team player, Paddy McAllister. In turn, Tewkesbury Park is the recommended hotel for the club and visiting teams.

The hotel has an 18-hole par 73 parkland golf course, academy course, practice range, plus with its extensive leisure facilities, including an indoor pool, steam room, sauna, outdoor hot tub, tennis and squash courts and fully-equipped gym and free weights room, the players will have the perfect venue for some light training or serious R&R! Commenting; Patrick Jones, said: "We are delighted to be signing this partnership, not only will it allow the hotel the opportunity to work closer with the local community, but will allow us to leverage corporate links with one of the Aviva Premiership's most prominent clubs."

Mike Turner, commercial director of Gloucester Rugby said; "We are extremely pleased to form a partnership with Tewkesbury Park; they provide an excellent facility which our playing squad speak very highly of. The hotel will be the recommended venue for the club and the teams that visit Kingsholm, so we're thrilled to have them on board as one of our many valuable commercial partners."  

A perfect venue, Tewkesbury Park's location means it's well-served by good transport links, it's only five minutes from M5 junction nine, on the doorstep of Tewkesbury, so logistically is perfect for visiting clubs and their army of fans.
