Jurys Inn Oxford hits the road‎ for a Mini adventure

The sales team from Jurys Inn Oxford will be hitting the road at the end of this month, dressed to impress and in a fleet of Minis to visit conference and event agencies across the country.   
The team of six will be travelling in branded Minis to launch the new meeting space and recent £10.8M investment at Jurys Inn Oxford. Agencies can look out for the team from 31st October to 4th November.


The Minis will travel the length and breadth of the UK and expect to clock up thousands of miles during the five days. The team will include Director of Sales of Jurys Inn Oxford, Julia Cook and Richard Money, Group Director of MICE Sales.   Jurys Inn Oxford has taken inspiration for their road trip from the motor manufacturing heritage of Oxford and to tie in with the re-launch of the hotel, as the hotel’s renovated bedrooms showcase design detail from both the Mini Cooper and Morris Minor. New bedrooms feature the DREAM bed by Jurys Inn and all rooms have WiFi as standard. Executive bedrooms also benefit from Sky TV and mini-bars.  

During the summer, Jurys Inn Oxford has undertaken a full refurbishment of 168 existing bedrooms, with an additional 72 bedrooms due to launch in November 2016.  

The Jurys Inn Oxford conference centre has also benefited from a complete refurbishment with significant investment in technology throughout the meeting rooms. The new conference centre has 20 meeting rooms including a dedicated boardroom with integrated power sockets for wireless meetings and new breakout areas with refrigerated drinks dispensers for refreshment breaks. The largest meeting room, the University Suite, accommodates 300.  

The hotel lobby has been completely transformed with a new colour palette of neutral shades and energetic accents of turquoise, elegant soft furnishings, new floor coverings and there are now dedicated areas for guests to hold small meetings. There is also a new Costa Coffee bar.‎

 
Jurys Inn Oxford will also launch a new bar, a renovated Juvenate Health & Leisure Club and a new Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill in December  2016. The new restaurant will have 180 covers and will be available to hire for corporate events.
