London Heathrow Marriott reveals new conference space after multi-million pound investment programme

London Heathrow Marriott Hotel is unveiling its brand new conference and meeting space after undergoing an extensive, multi-million pound refurbishment programme.   
The popular business and leisure hotel has revealed the first pictures of its impressive transformation, which includes 14 fully redesigned, multi-purpose meeting rooms within 1,800 square metres of refurbished conference space.

The four-star venue worked with award-winning architects, EPR, to prepare the fresh space in line with the hotel’s vision for its state-of-the-art conference facilities. With a reputation as one of the UK’s leading architectural practices, EPR offered master planning and interior design excellence to bring about the exciting renovation.

The new conference space offers a meeting room capacity of up to 480 people with an additional six meeting rooms, all equipped with innovative technology such as Write on Walls, Barco Clickshare, LED screens and Bluetooth sound bars.

Business guests are also able to meet in style to enjoy a reimagined food and beverage experience in the new conference area, along with versatile seating options and flexible social spaces. With a professional catering team on hand, a large selection of options for everything from energising breaks and working lunches to canapé receptions and private plated dinners are available to delegates.

Speaking about the refurbishment, general manager, Ron Vos, said: “We are delighted with our new conference space and we’ve had very positive responses from the site visits.”  

“The renovation covers 900 square metres and we’ve moved away from the traditional, offering innovative, modern solutions for our meeting delegates. The space is perfect for larger conferences and exhibitions – proving to be especially important given the fact that many overseas conferences are opting to stay in Heathrow instead of going in to Central London.
