The Old Mill
For food lovers, a particularly magnificent setting is the Old Mill fine dining restaurant located at Elounda Mare Hotel. Set around an ancient millstone; the Old Mill is surrounded by beautiful blooming gardens overlooking the waterfront creating the most perfect setting for a silver service. The fantastic restaurant has won numerous culinary awards but most importantly is one of the only restaurants in Greece to receive the prestigious ‘Toque d'Or ‘award. The Old Mill offers guests a truly remarkable dining experience with an extensive wine list and an astounding Cretan gourmet menu filled with options for even the most demanding palate.  

Calypso features French gourmet cuisine with an amazing view of the entire bay, from above. Located in the main building of the all suite Elounda Peninsula hotel, Calypso offers one of the finest cuisines in Greece and has been awarded for it multiple times, with the ‘Toque d’Or’ awards. It is well worth at least one palette experience during your stay.  

For travellers looking for an unforgettable culinary experience, the Odysseus restaurant located at the Elounda Peninsula and Porto Elounda provides a family friendly atmosphere with an exquisite menu. Every Wednesday, the skilled chefs prepare a unique menu for the Greek Degustation night. Guests can enjoy a tempting menu with a variation of delicious dishes and flavours from every corner of the country; from the Ionian Islands to Northern Greece, from Aegean islands to the Peloponnese, Epirus & Macedonia. The Yacht Club
Located at the Elounda Mare Hotel, The Yacht Club restaurant overlooks the glorious waves of the Mediterranean Sea and is elegantly situated on the dramatic edge of the beach below. For a unique dining experience, guests can attend The Fisher’s Eve on Fridays, which serves a beautiful seafood buffet displaying only the finest fresh fish caught locally that day. During the evening, guests can enjoy the authentic taste of Greece’s seafood whilst listening to beautiful melodies provided by local musicians. Guests can expect an array of seafood including, Greek oysters, prawns, octopus, calamari and lobsters alongside traditional specialities.
