The Conservatorium, Amsterdam brings an extra element to meetings and events

The Conservatorium, Amsterdam meeting room

New inspirational and active add-ons are launched for MICE delegates

Located in the heart of Amsterdam, the Conservatorium, part of The Set hotels, is perfectly positioned for meetings and events catering to discreet business dinners to exclusive residential conferences. The hotel offers a total of 329m2 of meeting space, split over six different rooms with the main meeting room accommodating up to 150 guests in reception style.

Each of the event spaces seamlessly blend the grandeur of the Conservatorium with state of the art technology and comfort with the welcome addition of natural light.

This year, the Conservatorium is offering additional activities and incentives for meetings and events to make the days more inspirational, fun and active.

Add on Sake or Wine Tasting
For something slightly different during an event or as a relaxing evening after a long meeting, the Conservatorium’s head sommelier will educate guests with a sake or wine tasting session on both the hotel’s range of local Dutch and classic international wines along with an array of different sakes on offer in the hotel’s wonderful Asian-inspired restaurant Taiko. The session will include information on the different wines or sakes sampled, and discussion on the origin of the wines and the various notes tasted.

Add on Gin Tonic in Tunes Bar
Taking a break from the meeting spaces, guests will move to Tunes Bar - the ultimate G&T location in Amsterdam with over 40 gins on offer. One of the expert bartenders will lead a masterclass, teaching guests on the different perfumes and botanicals in each gin, and the best tonic water to complement the flavour. Upon request, this class can be accompanied by small Asian-inspired dishes from the Conservatorium’s restaurant Taiko.

Add on Laura Mercier Make Up Workshop
For female delegates, the Laura Mercier workshop is the perfect add on for those wanting to learn more about different skin types and the range of products that can be used on them. The workshop will be led by one of the specialists from Skins Cosmetics in the Van Baerle Shopping Gallery, which sells all the products used in the masterclass.

Add on NOSE workshop
Also in the Skins Cosmetics shop in the Van Baerle Shopping Gallery, the NOSE workshop, led by the shop’s Senior Perfume Expert helps guests identify their favourite aromas.  The blind workshop uses the Skins philosophy where guests should have no external brand influences when analyzing the different perfumes.

Cigar and Rum Add-On
Above the chic Tunes, the smoking lounge will be transformed into a Havana bar pairing premium rums and top quality cigars provided by La Casa del Habano. The perfect place for a relaxing drink and a chance to learn more about different types of cigars from Cuba to Nicaragua.

Add on Gym Workshop
For those looking for something more active during their time at the Conservatorium, the Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre will book guests into a range of complimentary fitness and workout classes from boxing to hatha yoga and meditation. Throughout the summer months, the Conservatorium will be also be able to organize yoga classes and fitness sessions in the nearby Vondelpark, the perfect start to any day in Amsterdam. All the sessions will be led by Akasha’s top personal trainers or yoga specialists.

All add-ons can be booked in advance and customized to suit the guests’ needs. Prices will vary depending on request.
