Costa Navarino welcomes Andrea Fusco, Michelin Star Chef

Costa Navarino, the prime sustainable destination located in the Greek region of Messinia, southwest Peloponnese, announces its partnership with renowned Italian Michelin-starred chef, Andrea Fusco, in terms of the new  gourmet - restaurant «Perovino» from late April, in Costa Navarino.

Hailing from Rome, where he runs his exciting modernist restaurant Giuda Ballerino in central Barberini Square, Andrea Fusco is a Michelin Star Chef (2011 -2014) and a Cannes Festival Chef.

Chef Fusco specializes in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, creating contemporary and signature dishes from various regions using the freshest ingredients. He enjoys the study of local cuisine, re-imagining local specialties, whilst ensuring the aura of tradition is retained. And while he does that, he also tends to ‘wow’ his new public with his strongest card – being his charming, unique and imaginative shelf, aiming to turn dining into an enjoyable transformative experience, specifically stating “Our greatest goal as Chefs is to make our clients happy, tranquil and transform their mood, no matter their initial state of mind before stepping their foot to our restaurants! Once we have turned their mood around from a hard day’s work – our true goal has also been realized!”

Combining his talent with the Messinian culinary history of  4000 years; a wealth of fresh, organically grown ingredients from Costa Navarino vegetable gardens; a multi-awarded Kalamata olive Oil and the awarded estate produced  wine can only set our imagination as to the mouth-watering dishes to be offered on-site.

That alongside Costa Navarino’s two luxury hotels The Westin Resort Costa Navarino and The Romanos, A Luxury Collection Resort, spa facilities, signature golf courses, a host of other sports, cultural activities and exclusive venues can make a guest’s experience truly worthwhile. 

In particular to authentic gastronomical experiences, Costa Navarino is home to a number of exclusive venues. Flame serves expertly cooked steak dishes. Barbouni and Almyra by Papaioannou restaurants focus on freshly caught fish. Taverna and Souvlakerie specialize in traditional homemade and time-honoured local recipe dishe.
