Conrad London St. James launches Signature Festive Treats

Conrad London St. James Signature Festive Treats
Those looking for a stylish festive fix will be delighted by Conrad London St. James’ new range of Christmas delights, including Snow Queen Afternoon Tea, Silly Season cocktails and the ‘The Ultimate Christmas Sandwich.’ Located in the heart of Westminster, the hotel offers the ideal setting to enjoy an iconic London Christmas, merely a stone’s throw from the city’s sparkling Christmas lights, ice-skating and shopping.

Silly Season Cocktails & Gourmet Treats
Brand new in the hotel’s Blue Boar Bar, guests will be offered the choice of three silly season cocktails. They include the Santa Baby (a melody of vodka and strawberry liquor and a dash of cream), as well as the Jingle Bell Rock (a combination of rum, Apple liquor, cinnamon syrup  and a splash of blackberry pure) and the Hard Candy Christmas (a blend of vodka,  chocolate liquor, Disaronno and double cream).

Accompanying these festive cocktails is ‘The Ultimate Christmas Sandwich’, which lives up to its name. A succulent char-grilled turkey breast, wild chestnut mushroom stuffing, smoked bacon, and complimented by a winter slaw and truffle mayonnaise; all held together by cranberry infused granary bread, accompanied with skinny fries and gravy dip – a delightful Christmas treat! With its stunning décor and excellent service, Blue Boar Bar is the ideal location to celebrate and treat oneself.

The Silly Season Cocktails and Ultimate Christmas Sandwich, which includes a pint or large glass of house wine, will be available from 1st - 31st December 2015 and are £10 & £.15.

Snow Queen Afternoon Tea, 23rd November – 11th February 2016
Complimenting these tempting treats, Conrad London St. James continues its renowned afternoon tea offering with the Snow Queen. Inspired by the enchanting Hans Christian Anderson fairy-tale, this afternoon tea delights guests with a glittering array of winter delicacies, complimented with free flowing G.H.Mumm Champagne. Treats recreate the ‘magic mirror’ with salted butter shortbread, yoghurt cream, frosted blueberries and sugar shards, as well as ‘ the palace snowflakes’ with blackcurrant and cardamom cake, glittering meringue and icing sugar snowflakes.

The Snow Queen afternoon tea is available at £55 per person with free flowing G.H. Mumm Cordon Rouge Champagne or £39 per person without champagne.
