The Singular Patagonia opens Sept 17th for 5th season

The Singular Patagonia in Southern Chile, TripAdvisor’s #1 rated hotel in Chile, re-opens for a fifth and exciting season Sept 17th with new expeditions and experiences that will further elevate the overall guest experience at the award winning property on the shores of the Fjord of Last Hope Sound.

With each season that passes since the winter 2011 opening, The Singular improves upon the last with new offerings and expeditions.

Last season the hotel transformed the 100 year old Blacksmith’s Forge into a traditional Patagonian BBQ (“Asador”) serving fresh grilled meats on an open fire in a historic setting.

For the upcoming 2015/2016 season, guests will relish in adrenaline pumping activities that really connect them to the surrounding nature including fly fishing in fresh water created by the ice fields;  horseback riding across Herman Eberhard’s Estancia (the area’s first settler) and a full day private boat excursion navigating the area Fjords and glaciers.

On an Estancia Visit, Singular guests will learn more about the history, customs and traditions of the area’s typical ranch touring shearing sheds and meeting real life gauchos.

Those that want to flex more of an athletic muscle can do a Full Day Kayak through the Patagonian Fjords or test their skills with Fly Fishing Classes in the open water overlooking snow-capped mountains.

These activities and more than 20 others are included on Full Board bookings, along with all meals, which start at $1300 per night for two people.  However, if traveling with children, an extra room is only $200 per night for those under 12 and $400 per night for kids 12-17.  Bed and Breakfast rates are available as well starting at $395 per night.

There are no minimum night stays.  As a bonus, when booking three or more nights on Full Board, guests enjoy a complimentary night at the brand’s newest sister hotel The Singular Santiago in a Patio Room.
