Beaumont Estate announces new teambuilding activities following increase in enquiries

Bear Grylls Survival Academy at Beaumont Estate
Beaumont Estate, part of the PH Hotels Collection, in Old Windsor has partnered with Chillisauce to bring the Bear Grylls Survival Academy experience to the venue as a corporate teambuilding package. An interactive corporate preview of the new activity will be hosted on 21st September with the experience officially available shortly afterwards. Bookings for teambuilding events at the hotel has increased by 15% since 2013 and enquiries for teambuilding events this year are up by 5%  compared to 2014.

Beaumont Estate is also working with KDM Events to bring two additional teambuilding activities to the hotel; the English Job and Bugsy Malone to meet demand.

Steve Jones, general manager, Beaumont Estate said: “We are excited to have these new activities on our roster of teambuilding packages. Client budgets are returning and exciting teambuilding events are back on the agenda. Organisers are looking for engaging, original and fun activities which challenge participants physically, mentally and emotionally, as well as bonding teams together.”

Bear Grylls Survival Academy is designed and delivered by Grylls’ team of experts and puts teamwork skills to the test in a fight for survival with activities including bushcraft, wilderness food preparation and shelter building.

The English Job teambuilding sees participants take on the role of sleuths as they work together to solve the theft of the Crown Jewels. Each team is provided with a secure briefcase containing detecting tools including a GPS tablet and finger printing kit. Using the tablet, teams navigate to hotspot locations and answer questions (earning points) which will bring them one step closer to solving the crime. CCTV tapes of the heist will test the teams’ observational skills, after which the location of the jewels and suspects of the crime must be presented.

Bugsy Malone is an indoor filming activity that brings teams together to re-enact scenes from the iconic musical. Following a briefing from the director each team will be allocated a main musical number to perform. Each team will view the scene they are to perform before rehearsing with the assistance of a choreographer. With the routines polished each participant will be styled in costume and perform on camera with a digital background of the scene. All performances will be viewed as a premiere, with an Oscar awarded to the best team.

Beaumont Estate’s partnership with Chillisauce and KDM Events means that organisers can select off the shelf solutions to fit budgets and groups with a minimum of 20 delegates. Instant pricing, through a bespoke matrix, allows for each activity to be priced for the numbers required instantaneously by the team. Bespoke company values and objectives can be incorporated into all teambuilding packages.
