Lou Casteou launches 'Body Tonic' the ultimate fitness break

2015 Chateau Lou Casteou in the South of France this month launches ‘Body Tonic’, a luxurious fitness retreat providing the perfect balance of energetic training, outdoor activities, healthy, gourmet meals and luxury accommodation, to help guests improve fitness levels or kick start a weight loss regime. 
Body Tonic is designed to benefit and appeal to all fitness enthusiasts. Personal Trainer David Higgins and his team will lead guests on a pathway to better physical well-being, offering stretching programmes, aerobic workouts, core strength endurance, health improvement, cardio vascular workouts, power classes and relaxing massages.

Guests will train in small groups with kettle bells, suspension trainers, adjustable steps and dumbbells, receiving individualised attention and support from trainers and hosts.

The five-day Cote d’Azur retreat will be held from the 16th to 20th September, 2015.  Guests will experience five days’ luxury chateau accommodation in en-suite bedrooms with sea or mountain views.

All meals, drinks and wines are included and food prepared by experienced French chef Jonathan Levy will be healthy low carbohydrate, ‘clean’ gourmet, prepared using the best local ingredients. Wines will be served with dinner. 

David Higgins holds numerous sport and fitness qualifications, having successfully trained in excess of 200 clients throughout his career. David is a Level 3 personal trainer with the National Academy Sports Medicine, a Les Mills Spin and Body Pump Instructor and graded Level 3 with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. David also founded Epsom Outdoor Circuits, the renowned outdoor training academy.

Other activities on offer at Body Tonic will include swimming, tennis and jogging.  Coastal and mountain treks will take place during the afternoons, in the stunning surrounding countryside.

The retreat is priced at £1,550 per person or £1,350 per person for two guests sharing a bedroom.
