L’Hôtel du Collectionneur opens its terraces

A journey of discovery for the senses

As the days get warmer, the Hotel du Collectionneur terraces are a very special place to soak up the sun and the peaceful ambience of a courtyard garden right in the heart of Paris.
The hotel is unveiled events on its three summer terraces on 15 April.

The “Patio Andalou”
A huge open-air garden
Extending out from the lobby, this 800m2 leafy space designed by landscape architect Olivier Riols is one of the largest open-air hotel gardens. It offers a subtle blend of exotic and varied species: cyprus hedges, rose bushes and palm trees are grouped around a granite overflow fountain. Nestling in the centre is a terrace with seating for 80 people where you can sample dishes from the Le Safran restaurant menu.

Chill out with Hugo & Victor
For a refreshing and flavour-filled break, the hotel offers a selection of artisan ice creams by Victor & Hugo, renowned for their French flair. Seasonal fruit and melted chocolate add the finishing touch to these ice cream sundaes with their subtle, sweet flavours.

The “Terrasse du Pont”
An intimate area for art lovers
The intimate, hidden “Terrasse du Pont”, which was also designed by Olivier Riols, reveals its charms to connoisseurs. It will host works by artist Patrick Laroche, Best French Craftsman Sculptor award winner, who will represent France at the Universal Exhibition 2015 in Milan. He is represented by Galerie 208, and will exhibit key pieces from his collection entitled “Vegetables”.

The “Terrasse du Purple”
The terrace adjoining the Purple Bar boasts seating for 30 people and is open all day from 10am to 11pm.

The art of the experimental cocktail
At aperitif time, the Purple Bar terrace brings a fresh twist to the art of cocktail-making with a new mixology experience based on Hennessy® cognac, Johnnie Walker Black Label® whisky, Zacapa® rum or Ketel One® vodka. This is an opportunity to discover unique cocktails such as the “Zacapa® bell” or “Ketel One® in a teapot” served with all the traditional flourishes. This is a very special place where novices and aficionados alike can experience new, surprising and endlessly delicious taste sensations.

A musical atmosphere
On Wednesdays and Thursdays the hotel welcomes DJs Julia Gautier and Kobain. Friday is live jazz night.
