Carvery & Grill ‘Theatre of the Senses’ features local produce at the heart of its new menu offering

The Carvery & Grill at Strand Palace Hotel isn’t a new restaurant – but it is a new experience. Chic and contemporary, it offers a traditional classic carvery and a modern British menu which features seasonal produce from the most respected, award-winning local artisans and farms within a 30-mile radius of the hotel.

With a serious attitude to provenance and a focus on impeccably sourced, top-quality produce that includes tender and tasty rib-eye and sirloins cut from 21-day-aged premium ‘Southern Gold’ beef, Head Chef, Martin Lynch has created a ‘theatre of the senses’ menu that is bursting with flavour and features a wide selection of delicious starters, mains (grills, burgers and grilled skewers of tender, moist chicken, prawns and salmon) and mouth-watering puddings.

With a warm and welcoming atmosphere, staff are always on hand to happily explain how the dishes are best served and accompanied including a fine collection of wines.

Located on the ground floor of the hotel, the laid-back atmosphere puts you instantly at ease, while the fresh seasonal ingredients and exquisite attention to detail will leave you wanting for nothing.
