Cambridge City Hotel achieves its AIM

Darryl Holdnall, General Manager of Cambridge City Hotel
Cambridge City Hotel, located in the heart of Cambridge city centre, is the latest venue to become Accredited In Meetings (AIM) and join the Meeting Industry Association (mia) as a venue member.   The accreditation was created by the mia almost 25 years ago as a way of providing the conference, meetings and events industry with an accreditation scheme that ensures high standards of facilities and services are met.

AIM is the industry recognised mark of excellence demonstrating a venue’s competencies and capabilities to customers. In order to achieve the award the facility has to undertake a rigorous process whereby it must meet or surpass a set of pre-agreed common quality standards which ensure venues are fit for purpose.

Suitable for any event or conference from two to 250 people, Cambridge City Hotel has four air-conditioned conference rooms and suites; all equipped with specialist PA and projection equipment, refreshment facilities and free Wi-Fi. The hotel’s experience and flexibility allows for personally tailored events to suit the client.

Darryl Holdnall, General Manager of Cambridge City Hotel, commented: “The Accreditation In Meetings from the mia underpins the quality of the meetings and events industry.  Through AIM we have demonstrated that our facilities and services have passed a stringent quality assurance assessment, which means that our clients can be confident we will do everything possible to reach and exceed their very high standards.  The priority for all of our staff is to ensure each guest’s expectations are met, and we work tirelessly to achieve this.  We are proud that our efforts have been recognised under this definitive hallmark.”
