Michelin-starred chef, Atul Kochhar, moves in

The Compleat Angler, the renowned Macdonald hotel on the banks of the Thames at Marlow, Buckinghamshire, is adding a big new attraction for event organisers and delegates. In addition to the Riverside Restaurant, which serves modern British menus, it is now opening an additional restaurant, Sindhu, with a Michelin-starred chef, Atul Kochhar. His speciality is traditional Indian cuisine with a contemporary twist.

Dishes to be served include Hiran ka Boti (venison saddle with cardamom and mace), Meen Moilee (wild sea bass with coconut moilee sauce) and Bathak Falliyan (Gressingham duck breast with three-bean stew and coriander cress).

Macdonald Compleat Angler Hotel has facilities for up to 120 delegates. For smaller meetings, there are two new executive boardrooms with Smartboard technology that have access to private gardens.

The General Manager, Gaius Wyncoll, says: ‘We have just completed a half million pound refurbishment. It’s really important to us that our conference and business guests enjoy every aspect of their overnight stay or a day visit. We want to continue to ensure that every meeting or event is unforgettable.’
