MARITIM introduces free WiFi for guests in Germany

In response to frequent guests’ requests for free Internet access, MARITIM Hotels has introduced complimentary WIFI at a number of its hotels across Germany.
Starting at MARITIM’s two hotels in Berlin, and with an extremely positive reception from guests and delegates, the group has extended the offer to all its major city hotels, including Bonn, Cologne, Darmstadt, Dusseldorf, Dresden, Frankfurt, Hanover, Bad Homburg, Magdeburg, Munich, Nuremberg, Ulm and Wurzburg.

The free WIFI is available throughout the hotels, including the lobby, bedrooms and conference rooms.  From logging on to corporate networks and checking emails to surfing the web and social media, MARITIM Hotels understands that staying connected is important for all guests.

For business travellers in particular, the benefits of being able to instantly access unlimited and free Internet are numerous.  For leisure travellers, it is a much welcomed bonus for booking a room with MARITIM.

Director of Sales UK & Ireland for MARITIM, LeRoy Sheppard, commented: “Free Internet access is seen as an increasingly indispensable service these days and, as such, MARITIM has decided to offer this service in all its major city hotels across Germany.

“We always listen to feedback from our guests and complimentary WIFI was a common request as the Internet is a significant part of our daily lives.  We are committed to continually improving the customer experience at our hotels and the roll out of the free Internet service highlights this.”

The service offered is a WLAN connection with standard bandwidth, making unlimited free surfing possible.

With the recent launch of MARITIM Hotels’ smartphone app, guests can also book their next over-night stay or conference with MARITIM from their phone or tablet anywhere in the hotel.
