The Residence Mauritius ~ New treatments inspired by semi-precious stones
This Autumn, The Spa at The Residence Mauritius launches seven new treatment programmes, each inspired by a different semi-precious stone. Aventurine, Amethyst, Rock Crystal, Carnelian, Chalcedony, Labradorite and Jasper are known for their individual healing properties and are the central element for each of the new packages. Whether guests are looking to relax, energise, cleanse or just be pampered, there is something for everyone. For those wanting total body revitalisation, choose Amethyst, (a stone renowned for its cleansing and energising properties) which combines 60 minutes of personal training, with 90 minutes of bio-energetic lymphatic drainage and finally a 60 minute Carita facial. Or Carnelian, (a stone that has warming and relaxing benefits) for a tranquil and calming effect following 60 minutes of Pilates with 75 minutes of Samunprai, a Royal Thai massage using warmed oils and herbs with Thai massage techniques that eliminate toxins and soothe tired muscles. During each programme the semi-precious stone is placed in a carved wooden bowl under the headrest so that guests can further feel the benefits of their properties throughout the treatment.
