Leading Croatian resort Sun Gardens, Dubrovnik, paves the way for others by joining Earth Hour

Demonstrating its commitment to protecting and preserving the environment, Sun Gardens, Dubrovnik is to partake in Earth Hour, the internationally acknowledged and practiced event to raise awareness of our global carbon footprint, this Saturday 29th March.
From 20.30 – 21.30, the resort will be bathed in complete darkness, as all lights within the resort will be switched off for one hour. Staff, guests and residents alike will be involved in this momentous initiative as it is rolled out across all guestrooms, apartments and public areas.

To mark the occasion, Sun Gardens, Dubrovnik is hosting a poignant and atmospheric, candlelit evening, complete with dinner at the resort’s Tartufo restaurant. Known for its sumptuous á la carte menu, sweeping views across the Adriatic and imposing Elafiti Islands, guests can join with the hotel staff to stargaze across the sea, whilst sipping a cool cocktail.

Earth Hour is a global initiate that urges cities around the world to take a leadership role in the global transition to a low carbon economy, and by partaking, Sun Gardens, Dubrovnik solidifies its claim as a bastion of luxury hospitality in Croatia.
