XV Beacon Boston launches “Follow Me to Fenway’ package

Boston has a strong sports history and for the avid sports fan no visit to the city is complete without a trip to see the famous Red Sox at the historic Fenway Park.
In 2013 the Boston Red Sox became only the second team to win the World Series one year after finishing last in their division. In eager anticipation of the forthcoming season Boston’s XV Beacon has launched the “Follow Me to Fenway’ package.

Available throughout April the package includes a night stay in a Beacon Hill Studio, hot pretzels and local beer upon arrival and a tour of Fenway Park including a courtesy Lexus Sedan drop-off.  Red Sox tickets can also be purchased for an additional charge. Ticket prices will vary based on seat preference and number of tickets purchased.

Situated in a 1903 Beaux Arts Building that unites cutting-edge technology with Jeffersonian style, XV Beacon is centrally located at 15 Beacon Street. Ideally situated for business and leisure travellers alike, it is set in a historic neighbourhood with quaint brick sidewalks, authentic Federal and Greek Revival row houses and evocative gas-lit streets. It is just steps away from the gold-domed Statehouse, legendary Boston Common and Public Garden and just a few blocks from Faneuil Hall, Quincy Marketplace and the famed shopping of Newbury Street.

XV Beacon has 63 guest rooms, seven on each floor, which are ideally suited for making the most of your stay in Boston. XV Beacon’s rooms are some of the largest in the area for a hotel of its size. Every room in the hotel has a gas fireplace and many of the rooms benefit from four-poster or canopy beds all with cashmere throws and Frette linen. The Bromfield one bedroom suites are 900 sq ft and include a separate parlor area with table to accommodate up to 12 people. The Gilbert Stuart suite has two bedrooms and is 1370 sq ft with a separate seating area, a boardroom table accommodating up to 12 people and three bathrooms. All suites have 2 entrances from the hallway and overlook historical Beacon Street.

The hotel restaurant, Mooo, is a modern steakhouse with an award winning wine list.  Chef/Owner Jamie Mammano uses his culinary expertise to create classic, yet inventive steakhouse dishes and has garnered rave reviews for these. The restaurant is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on Sundays. On the lower level of XV Beacon, guests will find Mooo's private dining room, eponymously named the Wine Cellar. Vaulted ceiling, stone floors and walls lined with a dazzling collection of rare and fine wines and art.

As well as being ideally located, XV Beacon is a 'private residence’ that offers all the conveniences and comforts of home. The hotel also offers complimentary in-town Lexus service, complimentary Wi-Fi, iPad rentals, Puravair air purifiers for hypo-allergenic rooms, daily ice delivery, Nespresso machines upon request, complimentary bath salts for use in the Jacuzzi baths, rainfall showers, heated towel racks and 24-hour room service (including the complete menu from restaurant Mooo).

Boston has a rich cultural heritage that is one of the key reasons to visit. The Freedom Trail is a particular highlight of Boston’s historical past and provides an introduction to the historical and popular sites of the city. As one of America’s oldest cities there is always something to uncover including Beacon Hill and Back Bay neighbourhoods, the New England Aquarium, Harvard university or a visit to the Museum of Fine Arts.
