ME London: The Official Hotel of the BRIT Awards 2014

ME London has signed a partnership agreement as the official hotel partner for The BRIT Awards 2014 with MasterCard. To kick off the partnership, ME London will be hosting a BRITs photography exhibition from the archives of the BRITs, celebrating past winners, in their luxurious Marconi bar from 3rd February to 10th March.

In addition to this in the hotel’s ‘Atrium’, a nine-storey high remarkable pyramidal space, a huge sculpture of the Iconic BRIT award will be unveiled.  This year’s BRIT trophy designed by hat maker, Philip Treacy OBE, is receiving critical acclaim for its reference to the punk music era so synonymous with the UK.

Throughout the partnership ME London will host a number of artists, as well as quarterly gigs in the ME Room, pledging to raise money through various donations and initiatives, including charity donations from every paying stay. ME London’s donations will go to The BRIT Trust – the UK’s music industry charity whose mission is to ‘support young people in music and education.’  The main beneficiaries of BRIT Trust funding include the BRIT School (the only free Performing Arts School in the UK) and Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy. ouse.

Fabio Gallo, General Manager of ME London said: ‘This charitable partnership is the perfect fit with the hotel, the flagship property of a brand built around the concepts of music, urban culture and fashion and we look forward to building a long-term relationship with The BRIT Awards. It will be the first of many to come.'

John Craig OBE, Chairman of The BRIT Trust said: ‘The Trust is delighted to be the chosen charity for ME London. We are excited by the prospect of working together to promote BRITs, Classic BRITs, BRITs Icon plus the emerging talent graduating from The BRIT School.’
