It’s a jungle out there in Sherwood Forest

Michelle Chenery reports on Clumber Parks' newly launched team-building boot camp

The Clumber Park Hotel & Spa nestles in picturesque fashion in Sherwood Forest and this was the setting for two and half days of full-on activity, all-round good fun – mixed in with a bit of mud and rain.
The first requirement was a detailed individual assessment for the resident fitness expert, Kyle Hanrahan. This included a blood pressure test and health and weight measurements on which to calculate our body mass index and whether or not we were dehydrated.

Wide choice of facilities in a vibrant city

Montreal

Roger St Pierre reports from Montreal

Canadians have somehow managed to soak up the best of American, French and British influences, leaving behind the worst features of those nations. Montreal may be the largest city in the determinedly French-speaking Quebec province but it’s a welcoming, warm-hearted and truly cosmopolitan place, with Greek, Italian and Chinese quarters as well as a thriving gay village. Three packed days gave us a great insight into two Czech destinations

Prague

Michelle Chenery reports, breathless, on a visit to Pilsen and Prague

It was my first visit to the Czech Republic. We saw so much of interest that it will take me long into the New Year to digest it all. In fact, it is hard to believe that it was all accomplished in just three days from leaving London and returning to Heathrow.

Estonia is a prospering European destination

Estonia

With highly advanced technology, it meets all the needs of organisers, reports Roger St Pierre from Tallinn

Event organisers are finding exciting new opportunities in the newly independent Baltic states of the former Soviet Union. Estonia is one country that is reaping immense benefit. The increasing flow of business travellers has prompted Estonian Air to switch its London-Tallinn flights from Gatwick to London City from March 2013 in order to offer a three times a week service.

Do it of your own freewheel

Cycling Mallorca>

Cycling makes a great incentives activity – especially in sunny Mallorca, enthuses Roger St. Pierre

Cycling is, they are saying, the new golf. A kaleidoscope of factors has come together to create a two-wheeler boom unmatched since Victorian times. The sensational Brad Wiggins-Chris Froome first- and second-place triumph in the Tour de France was a massive boost, as was the brilliance of the British team at the London Olympics. Britain’s cyclists, with both men and women dominating the sport, would have made the upper half of the medal tables had they been a self-contained nation.
