Standing high above any other hotel in Lisbon city centre, the Sheraton Lisboa Hotel and Spa is one of the most recognised hotels in Portugal’s capital.
It offers a cluster of benefits for event organisers. It has over 40 years of service experience with a convenient central location, yet it is only minutes away from Lisbon International Airport.

The property caters for every type and configuration of event with 12 versatile function rooms. Sheraton Lisboa Hotel and Spa has 369 guest rooms, comprising 10 Executive Suites, a Presidential Suite, 250 Deluxe guest rooms and 34 Premium rooms that are located on the 18th and 19th floors. Its 74 designer Club rooms are on four exclusive upper floors. All of the rooms are equipped with the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed, ample glass-walled bathrooms, Bang & Olufsen LCD TV featuring in-room movies, an interactive menu to check messages and Pay TV, blackout electric curtains, a spacious working desk, direct dial telephone voicemail service and high speed internet access.

Guests have complimentary 24 hours access to Sheraton Fitness. The Deluxe, Premium and Club rooms offer a spacious 32sqm. The Premium rooms give a view of the city that is a little more elevated. Guests in the Club rooms enjoy remarkable views of the city and are also granted access to the Club Lounge, where they can enjoy daily breakfast, snacks, happy hour in the afternoon with hors d’oeuvres, newspapers, magazines, and complimentary high speed internet and printing facilities. They also benefit from a late check-out and one free parking space, subject to availability.

The Executive Suites measure 62sqm and are located on the top floors. These offer guests have the added bonus of complimentary Wi-Fi, special VIP treatment on arrival, a separate living room, one free parking space and also access to the Club Lounge and Spirito Spa. The Presidential Suite on the 23rd floor has 155sqm, including a panoramic Jacuzzi, wide living room, dining room with a grand piano as well as an independent kitchenette and office.

On the very top floor is the award winning Panorama Restaurant & Bar. With fantastic views of Lisbon, it offers a selection of unrivalled culinary experiences, combining traditional Portuguese cuisine with a touch of urban flavour. Diners have a choice of a great selection of appetisers, from a range of specially prepared seafood to Granny Smith apple carpaccio with creamed goat’s cheese, varieties of grapes, dried fruits and mushrooms.

Main courses pay tribute to traditional Portuguese dishes, such as a stew served on a turnip puree with savoury cabbage and carrots. Desserts are mouth-watering combinations based on Typical Portuguese traditional cuisine, such as custard pastry on coffee crème, caramel ice cream and cinnamon

For corporate and private dining a section of this restaurant can be reserved for up to 75 guests and for larger groups the entire restaurant can be booked for exclusive use when it can cater for up to 165 people.

On the ground floor there is the relaxed Lobby Bistro and Bar, where breakfast, lunch and dinner menus are inspired by the best of Portuguese cuisine and the multicultural origins of its clients. Premium wines, beer and delicious tapas can be enjoyed in the Lobby bar.

High profile events venue
The hotel has hosted some of the city’s most notable high profile events within its 1,600sqm of function space. There are twelve 12 versatile rooms over two floors, giving a total of 29 different configurations. It can seat up to 600 delegates.

The five White Plains rooms have the highest ceiling height of 4.4m, catering for up to 626 theatre style or 360 at a banquet. Smaller rooms for more intimate meetings include the Memphis, for up to 21 delegates U-shape and o 49 persons reception style. The Sheraton Lisboa Hotel & Spa subscribes to a sustainable meetings practice that includes serving Fair Trade coffee and organic tea. The flip charts and note books use environmentally friendly paper, and the hotel uses LED signage and whiteboards.

The Spirito Spa within the hotel covers a total of 1,500sqm and has eight treatment rooms. It offers a Mediterranean spa experience that includes VIP Suites, a heated outdoor pool, chill-out areas, Jacuzzi, hammam, sauna and hair and manicure services. There is a juice bar and fitness centre.

Aromatherapy Associates and Morjana products are used in a variety of treatments. They include a Three Elements express massage that lasts 25 minutes, and focussing on three essential elements, personalised to each individual, whether that’s neck, back and shoulders or legs. The Essential Spirito Signature Ritual lasts 110 minutes. It comprises an aromatherapy bath, an intensive salt and coffee body exfoliation, followed by a layering of hydrating rose serum, leaving your skin radiant and soft.

In the Sheraton Lisboa Hotel and Spa there is also a running club that allows guests to experience Lisbon with a personal trainer on a guided run. Guests can see the sights instead of just pounding a treadmill in the fitness room. A run is up to 9km.
